Meetings and Bible studies

The church with its members gathers together regularly according to the teaching of the Bible and the example and model given by the early Christians.

"Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls. And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers" (Acts 2:41-42).

In these meetings, we familiarize ourselves with the teachings of the Bible through Bible studies very thoroughly. We merely address the basics in the testimonial and revival meetings and in the events where we proclaim the gospel. In the Bible studies, we look at the matters more deeply and broadly according to the progress and growth stage of the church and according to needs.

In the Bible studies, we go through, for example, different topics in the Bible, the lives of the persons in the Bible, and events and situations in the Bible.

In these meetings, we also pray a lot; we pray for Tampere, its neighboring regions, and Finland. We also pray for subjects of intercession delivered to us and brought forth in our meetings. We believe in the great possibilities of prayer.

"For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil" (1. Pet. 3:12).

"Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much" (James 5:16)

The Bible studies are about an hour in length. Overall, meetings last about an hour and a half, sometimes a bit longer too.

We gather together for the Bible studies and to pray weekly, at least once or twice a week.
